How Can We Help Your Back Pain?

End Back Pain with Beverly Hills Comprehensive Medical Group

man holding back in painBack pain comes in many forms from upper cervical discomfort or sciatic pain that affects walking and sitting to herniated discs to mid-back issues that limit rotation and overall movement. Is back pain keeping you from sports, seeing friends and family, from gardening, working and essentially participating in your favorite activities? Our caring team at Beverly Hills Comprehensive Medical Group understands the importance of improving and maintaining everyday wellness to help free you from back pain so you can return to your daily routine.

How Chiropractic Can Help You Heal From Back Pain

We know that your back pain experience is unique to your lifestyle. You may have suffered from an old injury that went untreated that still troubles you, perhaps a new injury that was job-related, sports-related or simply from a repetitive overuse issue. While many of us consider back pain to be due to an obvious injury, in many cases back pain is a result of chronic misalignment due to a combination of several variables such as poor ergonomics while working, improper posture while standing and sitting, lack of exercise to support healthy musculature and frame and often poor dietary habits or inadequate nutrition.

Our chiropractic team will perform an exam, x-rays and evaluate your concerns. From here we will develop a treatment plan that best suits your personal situation. We incorporate a multitude of research-driven techniques to help you heal such as spinal manipulation and decompression, massage therapy, nutritional consulting and physical therapy to help you heal. Between your treatments we also prescribe exercises to complement your in-office adjustments.

Back pain, depending on its cause almost always responds most optimally when we combine several techniques. Massage is often coupled with spinal manipulation to help soft tissues such as ligaments, tendons and fascia communicate more effectively with the spinal column. Massage is also an effective approach to reduce whole body inflammation and referral discomfort that often accompanies back pain.

Spinal decompression uses a distractive force to relieve pressure between discs and alleviate potentially compressed nerves. We often find that with herniated discs and sciatic issues, a combination of physical treatments such as spinal decompression, massage and physical therapy complement one another optimally for a majority of patients. When pressure is relieved and space is created between discs, natural, nutritive bio-chemicals can enter the area to further reduce inflammation and heal tissues.

Because we understand our patients are all unique, we strive to offer the most comprehensive service to you in and out of the office. Along with prescriptive exercises we may also suggest therapeutic supplements, pillows, ergonomic advice for your office and home, therapeutic tools and pillows and general lifestyle advice that continues to help you prevent future back pain.

Testimonials

Reviews By Our Satisfied Patients

  • "They care and have a nice time doing it. I am thinking of going back again, but I am too embarrassed about not having continued with the exercises he prescribed. He said, Do them or you will come back here with worse...and guess what? I am too embarrassed to go back! But still will, I think..."
