Well Woman Exam
Here at The Beverly Hills Comprehensive Medical Group, we offer annual well woman exams along with primary care and wellness services for women. Our female exams cover common health concerns that affect women, including reproductive health and changes or concerns in overall health.
A well woman exam in Beverly Hills is designed to examine and address specific female health concerns and provide you with preventative care services. In general, our female exams include a breast exam, pelvic exam and pap smear. We will also take your blood pressure, record your weight and ask you if you've noticed any changes in your health or if you have any specific concerns that you would like us to examine more closely. Depending on your age, we may also recommend a mammogram and suggest STD testing.
When you enter into our waiting room for your Beverly Hills well woman exam, you will be welcomed into our clinic. If you are a new patient, you may be asked to fill out some paperwork, and we will ask to see your insurance card.
Once you are called for your appointment, we will take your blood pressure and record your weight. Then, our doctor will enter the examination room and ask you if you have any health concerns or if you have noticed any changes in your monthly cycles or breasts.
Our doctor will then perform a breast exam, checking for lumps and abnormalities, and you will receive a pelvic exam and pap smear. Depending on your age and sexual activity, we may also recommend STD testing and/or a mammogram.
You can also address specific health care concerns with our doctor. Our medical facility provides primary care, urgent care, chiropractic care and weight loss services that can be tailored for women.
We offer primary care services for women. If you become ill or get injured, we have a team of medical professionals that can diagnose and treat your illness or injury so that you can feel better faster.
Chiropractic Care with our Chiropractor
If you are experiencing chronic or acute back or neck pain or a sports or repetitive motion injury, our chiropractor can assess your injury and create a non-invasive treatment plan to restore the range of motion of your injured area and reduce your pain.
Many women are concerned about their weight, and if you have a BMI over 25, you are considered overweight. We offer programs and weight loss tips to help you shed extra pounds so that you can return to a healthy weight.
