Injured on the Job or Field? Pain Relief Is Possible at Executive ER

pain relief for sports or work injuriesImagine loading heavy boxes onto a truck at work, only to suddenly feel a sharp pain shooting across your shoulder or lower back. Or maybe you are going for a routine morning run, when you lose footing and fall onto your knee and ankle. Both situations would cause inflammation and could leave you immobile. How would you find pain relief?

At Executive ER, we treat many patients with work and sports injuries every year. Most are in pain and come to us because of our unique approach to pain management and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries. We aim to address our patients' pain and injuries using a combination of medical and therapeutic treatments that are both non-invasive and drug-free whenever possible.

Our staff is trained and experienced in handling:

•    Sprains and strains
•    Connective tissue damage
•    Bruised muscles
•    Tight and stiff muscles
•    Herniated discs
•    Fractures

The Role of Chiropractic and Physical Therapy in Sports Rehabilitation

Sports rehabilitation and treatment for workplace injuries usually involves the use of chiropractic and physical therapy, which are known to encourage self-healing over time. We evaluate our patients' and develop a pain management and rehabilitative treatment plan based on the results of our examination.

We combine proven, non-invasive methods with advancements in modern medicine to help our patients achieve long-lasting results as quickly as possible. We can use chiropractic to move the bones, joints and tissues into their ideal positions. Treatment is usually supplemented with physical therapy, which helps to restore range of motion using exercises that become increasingly challenging as patients progress. In some cases, we may recommend spinal decompression to gently pull compressed vertebrae apart and alleviate pressure on discs and nerves.

"Use It or Lose It"

Your insurance benefits reset in January, so if you have unused visits they DO NOT carry over to next year. If you are allowed 24 visits per year and you’ve only used 16, the 8 unused visits do not carry to next year (gone, bye bye, lost). Also, don’t forget Insurance Deductibles start over in January. With the new “Affordable Health Care Act" (ACA, Obamacare) we are seeing deductibles double and even triple. When verifying patient’s insurance we are now routinely seeing $4000-$5000 deductibles and $40-$75 copayments once the deductibles have been met. Also, Medicare deductible resets and reimbursements have been lowered resulting in higher co-pays and more uncovered services, which means greater out-of-pocket expenses for Medicare enrollees.

Testimonials

Reviews By Our Satisfied Patients

  • "They care and have a nice time doing it. I am thinking of going back again, but I am too embarrassed about not having continued with the exercises he prescribed. He said, Do them or you will come back here with worse...and guess what? I am too embarrassed to go back! But still will, I think..."
