If you are only familiar with the chiropractic care options available here at Executive ER, then you only know part of the story. Our clinic also offers emergency medical services for a wide range of conditions during our standard operating hours. We are happy to relieve our patients' distress and help put them on the road to recovery -- and we want to be there for your family too.
What level of health conditions do we define as an emergency? We should probably clarify that we generally do not handle life-threatening crises -- if you suffer a heart attack or stroke, for example, you need to be rushed to a hospital emergency room. But there are a great many conditions that, while not life threatening, still require prompt attention. Perhaps most obviously, a condition causing acute pain can be considered an emergency. Infections certainly belong in this category, as abscesses in need of drainage can cause extreme discomfort. We also see many cases of abdominal pain such as gallstones, kidney stones, gastritis and pancreatitis, and injury-related issues such as lacerations, sprains and bloody noses. Even a severe cold/flu virus may cry out for immediate care if it causes headaches, coughing, and a sore throat, breathing difficulties or other miseries. Asthma attacks are another type of respiratory emergency we can handle.
It might not surprise you to learn that many of the emergencies we deal with at our Beverly Hills facility are best treated with chiropractic care. Car, sports or workplace accidents often cause herniated discs and other joint injuries. Depending on your condition, we may prescribe spinal adjustments or decompression to relieve your pain without drugs. If some other form of treatment is required, we will either administer it ourselves or refer you to the appropriate practitioner.
